Unlike high-volume core facilities, we treat microtomy as an exacting craft—utilizing specialized blade geometries, meticulous block-chilling protocols, and slow-stroke technical precision to produce ultra-thin, uniform sections (2–5 µm) that are virtually free of compression or "chatter." Our custom approach is particularly critical for challenging, heterogeneous specimens—such as fibrotic pain models, decalcified bone, or delicate neural interfaces—where maintaining the exact spatial orientation of a few microns can be the difference between data and noise. By ensuring a flawlessly flat and intact tissue architecture, we provide the ideal foundation for the rigorous demands of cyclic immunofluorescence and adjudicated spatial profiling.
